MyMeApparel 2010-2011 Expressions of ME! Apprentice - Kyle Robinson

Do you know who Kyla Robinson is? ... She is a young lady on the move, one of the next generation of great wardrobe stylists...and also the MyMeApparel 2010-2011 Expressions of ME! Apprentice! 

Ms. Robinson came to MyMeApparel with a plan to become a Wardrobe Stylist.  She wanted to name her company Girl About Town.  Since becoming the MyMeApparel 2010-2011 Expressions of ME! Apprentice, Ms Robinson has worked with MyMeApparel Founder/Head Designer, Valeri L. Reaves, the MyMeApparel Resident Team Members and the Faces of ME! Models. She is created her company, Girl About Town, has a blog (also named Girl About Town), has made significant connects within the fashion and entertainment industry, has styled photo shoots and assisted in fashion shows and is now a part of the MyMeApparel Resident Team.  She is on her way to becoming a successful business woman and wardrobe stylist!!! 

Kyla will be releasing her reign as MyMeApparel Expressions of ME! Apprentice on September 22, 2011.  MyMeApparel will be introducing those individuals who are in the running to assume the position on April 21, 2011 at the MyMeApparel Industry Mixer.  Six semi-finalists will showcase their "expressions" of the MyMeApparel sketch, for a chance to win the title of MyMeApparel 2011-2012 Expressions of ME! Apprentice and an opportunity to learn the ins and the outs of the fashion and entertainment industry, while working alongside MyMeApparel Founder/Head Designer, Valeri L. Reaves as assistant designer for the annual MyMeApparel Fashion Show and gaining valuable information, contacts and skills on finding his/her place in the fashion and entertainment industry.

 * Some product restrictions may apply. $25 of vendor booth payment is non-refundable.  Total amount is non-refundable with cancellation of seven days or less. In the event of host required cancellations, vendor will be assigned an alternate date, no cash refunds will be provided.  Requests to sell food products and/or electricity must be requested two weeks in advance of event date and must be approved by host in writing prior to event.   Host does not guarantee number of attendees or vendor estimated sales.  Venue/Facility may change as needed, however no cash refunds will be provided due to venue change.  Vendor is responsible to maintain his/her area and staff in an orderly, professional manner at all times.  primary contact for vendor is host and/or her delegates and vendor should have minimal, if any, contact with venue/facility staff.  Failure to follow guidelines may result in inability to vend on event date, loss of vendor booth payment, and/or incurring additional fees for damage, facility fines/fees, etc. Host has final discretion. MyMeApparel Eligibility for Pay & Tours

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?


To become eligible for compensation with MyMeApparel, each model will have to complete one to three fashion shows...

Also, to be eligible to go on the MyMeApparel 2011 Fashion Tour, all Faces of ME! paperwork and measurements must be completed 30 days prior to tour stop date and must have walked in one to three fashion shows.

The one-time $50 administrative fee to become a MyMeApparel Faces of ME! model is waived until January 1, 2010... If your paperwork is not completed by December 31, 2010, you will be removed from the FaceBook Faces of ME! group. After January 1, 2010, the fee will have to be included in paperwork submission.

All current members of the FaceBook Faces of ME! group will receive a FB inbox, within the next few days, of your current status with MyMeApparel Faces of ME! Program regarding pay and tour eligibility. If you should have any questions or concerns, please send separate FB inbox with question or concern.

All individuals, regardless of status, need to create a free PayPal account immediately, if you have not done so already - as this is the official means of monetary transfer to and from MyMeApparel.

Mr. Christie is a three-time recipient of a Coretta Scott King Honor Award in Illustration. His books, Only Passing Through and Stars in Darkness have been included in the New York Times’ Year’s Best Illustrated Children’s Books and to date he has illustrated over twenty five children's books.

A jazz fan himself, Greg has also illustrated numerous jazz album covers and is often a contributor to the New Yorker magazine. His book Yesterday I Had the Blues has been animated and showcased on the PBS television show Between the Lions. "Garrett's Gift "Another animated short movie for educational DVD company, Sweet Blackberry with actresses Queen Latifah and Karyn Parsons was featured on HBO Kids yearly. IT IS NECESSARY FOR MYMEAPPAREL TO HAVE A MEETING/MIXER WITH YOU.

UNDERSTANDING THAT IT IS THE HOLIDAY SEASON, I KNOW WE ALL HAVE BUSY SCHEDULES. I AM SURE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ACCOMODATE EVERYONE, BUT FEEDBACK IS REQUIRED REGARDING YOUR AVAILABILITY.

Red Ribbon Affair Success!!!

Thank you all for your participation in the Red Ribbon Affair MyMeApparel Showcase Design.  It was a fantabulous evening and it would not have been possible had it not been for each and every one of you! I sincerely appreciate you!

Special apologies to Ramone Cooper and Nedra Phillips for falling short on your designs.  I will do my best to not have that occur again.  You both are now at the top of my priority list.

The CSYW Red Ribbon FB page will be deleted in a few days - allotting time for all members to receive my thank you message. 

Several of you are already Faces of ME! models, which means that you are already an elite member of Faces of ME! closed group. Some of those of you who are not yet Faces of ME! models have been temporarily added to the Faces of ME! group. 

For those of you who have been added temporarily, please complete the necessary paperwork to complete your process.  If you require the paperwork (for completion or be added to, please send your email address via FB inbox or email mymeapparel@yahoo.com with "request for Faces paperwork" in the subject line). 

Deadline to complete MyMeApparel Faces of ME! application process is Dacember 31, 2010.  Paperwork must be in the MyMeApparel Studio on December 31, 2010 - no exceptions.  Those individuals who have been temporarily added, but have not completed the application process by December 31, 2010, will be removed from the group on January 1, 2011.  Applications submitted on or after January 1, 2011 must be accompanied by a one-time administrative fee of $50.00, non-refundable. 

SO now is the time ladies and gents to be sure that paperwork is received by you, completed and submitted to MyMeApparel.  Doubts about the program?  Ask those who are already MyMeApparel Faces of ME! models.  It is a non-exclusive contract...you have nothing to lose but everything to gain!!!  Get in the Know now...I promise you, you don't want to miss this train!  Choo...Choo!
