Each Designer will be provided with one poster print of each garment worn during competition, including insignia reflecting event title & photographer. Model may only be selected by one designer.
This will not be a "bitching session", but a meeting of the minds for constructive thoughts to buildup the fashion & entertainment industry and celebrate our achievements as fashion designers.

Modeling Op: ME! Showcase Design: Model Call Required! 11/14/10 for 12/3/10 show
The Coalition of Successful Young Women (CSYW) is hosting a Model casting call November 14th at the Gallery Bistro (on Wesley Chapel Road), time to be determined, for a AIDS/HIV Benefit Awareness Show, called The Red Ribbon Affair, scheduled for December 3, 2010, same location.
MyMeapparel will be one of its showcase designers. However, all models who wish to be participate as a model for MyMeApparel or any of the other designers must present themselves at the model call for consideration - per promoter's guidelines.

Wanted! Fitting Models
I introduce to you, Shalayka! She is wearing the infamous MyMeApparel Beach Girl Dress!
(Yes, I named my dressform...)
She is my dear companion through my journies as a fashion designer. She has listened to my woes, held up fabric for hours on end, let me poke and prod, and carried me through to some great works! Never saying a word,...and rarely turning her back on me or poking me back! She has stretched out and stood up for me ...but there are some things she cannot do...shrink below a size 14 or extend past a size 18.
Hence, the reason why MyMeApparel is seeking fitting models...
What is a fitting model...a fitting model is a model who works with a designer/fashion house to be a human dress form. He/She will come to the studio at times designated by designer and model to try on garments for purposes of construction and altering. Fitting models may also model in fashion shows and photo shoots, accompany designers to trunk shows, fashion shows and private screens of elite clients. Fitting models are compensation in a number of ways either through service swaps, direct payment per fitting or in periodic payment as designated by designer/model.
MyMeApparel is seeking both male and female fitting models of all sizes (with an emphasis on children and plus size). Models will be compensated on a service swap basis. Fitting in exchange for portfolio photos, promotions and exposure. After three successful fitting sessions, models may be financially compensated, as agreed upon by MyMeApparel and model.
All fitting session take place at the MyMeApparel home studio in Douglasville, GA. However, additional travel is anticipated, for the successful fitting model, as it relates to photo shoots, fashion shows, trunk shows and private screening - including some travel outside of GA (usually with at least two weeks notice). Fitting models must be able to stand for an extended period of time, be able to do "quick changes", live in the Atlanta, GA area (including suburbs), have reliable transportation and be available within 48 hour of being notified of the need for fitting session. Some fitting experience appreciated but no required. Average fitting session expected to last between one and four hours.
